    From your current location in Gaithersburg, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the Ride On Bus Route 45 towards the Twinbrook Metro Station. Stay on the bus until you reach the Rockville Metro Station. From Rockville, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and ride it until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. There, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and ride it to the National Harbor stop. Once you get off, you will be at the entrance to National Harbor.

    If you're near the Gaithersburg Metro Station, board the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Stay on the train until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. At Gallery Place, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Ride the Yellow Line until you arrive at the National Harbor stop. After exiting, you will be at the National Harbor.
