Public Transit
From your location in Gaithersburg, make your way to the Gaithersburg MARC train station. You can take a local bus or walk to the station depending on your proximity. Once at the station, board a MARC train on the Brunswick Line heading towards Washington, D.C. Stay on the train for about 45 minutes until you reach the Washington Union Station. After arriving at Union Station, exit the train station and follow the signs to the Metro. Take the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont and get off at the Dupont Circle station (approximately 5 stops). Exit the station and head northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW. Continue walking until you reach P Street NW. Turn left on P Street, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Rose Park located at 2459 P St NW.
Bus
Find your way to the nearest bus stop in Gaithersburg. Take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Shady Grove Metro Station. From there, board the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont. Ride the Metro for about 20 minutes and get off at the Dupont Circle station. Once you exit the station, head northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn left onto P Street NW and walk for a few minutes until you reach Rose Park at 2459 P St NW.
Walking
If you are in central Gaithersburg and prefer to walk, first head towards the closest bus stop or transit stop to catch a Ride On Bus to the Shady Grove Metro Station. Once there, you will need to take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. After arriving at the Dupont Circle station, exit the station and walk northwest on Connecticut Avenue NW. Turn left onto P Street NW and continue walking until you reach Rose Park at 2459 P St NW. This option may take longer due to walking distances and waiting times.
