Public Bus
From your location in Gaithersburg, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Ride On bus system. You can catch the Ride On Bus Route 55 heading towards the Bethesda Metro Station. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the last stop at the Bethesda Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the Smithsonian station. Exit the station and walk for about 10 minutes towards 10 Constitution Ave NW. Follow signs for the National Air and Space Museum, and you will find the Smithsonian Pollinator Garden nearby.
Metro
Make your way to the nearest Metro station in Gaithersburg, which is the Gaithersburg station. Take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. After about 30 minutes of travel, disembark at the Smithsonian station. Once you exit the metro, walk towards 10 Constitution Ave NW. The Smithsonian Pollinator Garden is located adjacent to the National Air and Space Museum, which you will see as you approach.
Walking
If you are staying in downtown Gaithersburg, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to the nearby Metro station. Head towards the Gaithersburg station and take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Once you arrive at the Smithsonian station, exit and walk towards 10 Constitution Ave NW. The Smithsonian Pollinator Garden is located right next to the National Air and Space Museum. It's a lovely area to explore the garden and surrounding attractions.
