To reach the Three Saws Trailhead from downtown Gaithersburg, head to the Gaithersburg Transit Center located at 10 E Diamond Ave. Catch the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards Frederick. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Hamburg Rd and MD-85. From the bus stop, walk north on Hamburg Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the trailhead, which is located at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Gaithersburg. Start your ride from the Gaithersburg City Hall at 31 S Summit Ave. Follow the Washington & Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park Trail heading north. After about 5 miles, take a left onto Hamburg Rd. Continue for another mile, and you will see the Three Saws Trailhead at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd on your right.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a long walk, you can walk from downtown Gaithersburg. Start at the Gaithersburg City Hall at 31 S Summit Ave. Head north on Summit Ave until you reach MD-355. Cross MD-355 and continue north on the sidewalk along MD-355. After about 3 miles, turn right onto Hamburg Rd and walk another mile. The Three Saws Trailhead will be on your left at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd.
