Metro
Start at the Gaithersburg Metro Station on the Red Line. Board a train towards Glenmont. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Rockville Metro Station. Transfer to the R3 Bus towards the Twinbrook Metro Station. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the King St-Old Town Metro Station. From there, you will exit the bus and walk approximately 10 minutes south along King Street until you reach 105 N Union St, where the Torpedo Factory Art Center is located.

Find the nearest bus stop in Gaithersburg that services the Ride On bus lines. You can take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards Takoma Park. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the Montgomery College stop. From there, transfer to Bus Route 29 towards the Greenbelt Metro Station. After about 20 minutes, get off at the King St-Old Town stop. Walk south on Union Street for about 5 minutes to reach the Torpedo Factory Art Center at 105 N Union St.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations around Gaithersburg. Start by heading south on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. Follow the trail for about 5 miles until you reach the Alexandria area. Continue onto King Street, and then turn right onto Union Street. The Torpedo Factory Art Center will be on your left at 105 N Union St.

If you're near the Gaithersburg City Hall, you can walk towards the Gaithersburg Library. From there, take the path leading to the Lakeforest Mall where you can catch a bus or a Metro train. If you prefer to walk, head towards the Kentlands area, then make your way to the bus stop on Great Seneca Hwy. Take the Ride On Bus towards the Rockville Metro Station, and from there follow the previous instructions to reach the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
