Walking
If you are starting from Hagerstown City Park, exit the park and head south on Virginia Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with W Hillcrest Rd. Turn left onto W Hillcrest Rd and walk for about 0.3 miles. The Oak Hill Historic District will be on your right. Look for the historic markers and homes in the area.

From the Hagerstown City Center (if you are near the bus terminal), take the Washington County Transit bus route that heads towards the Valley Mall. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to W Hillcrest Rd. Once you get off, walk east for about 0.2 miles along W Hillcrest Rd. You should see the Oak Hill Historic District ahead on your right.

If you have a bike, start at the Hagerstown City Park. Exit the park and turn south onto Virginia Avenue. Follow Virginia Avenue until you reach the intersection with W Hillcrest Rd. Turn left on W Hillcrest Rd and continue biking for about 0.3 miles. The Oak Hill Historic District will be on your right. Be cautious of traffic as you approach the area.
