Getting There

Car
If you are driving within Seneca Creek State Park, head towards the main parking area near the Visitor Center. From there, exit the parking lot and take a right onto MD-355 S. Continue for about 1 mile and turn left onto Clopper Road. Follow Clopper Road for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Great Seneca Highway. After about 1 mile, you will see signs for Kingfisher Overlook. Take a left into the overlook area. There is no cost for parking at the overlook.

From the Shady Grove station, you can catch a Ride On Bus (Route 59) towards the Germantown Transit Center. Get off at the Clopper Road & Great Seneca Highway stop.
