Car
If you are driving within Seneca Creek State Park, head towards the main parking area near the Visitor Center. From there, exit the parking lot and take a right onto MD-355 S. Continue for about 1 mile and turn left onto Clopper Road. Follow Clopper Road for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Great Seneca Highway. After about 1 mile, you will see signs for Kingfisher Overlook. Take a left into the overlook area. There is no cost for parking at the overlook.

For those using public transportation, the nearest Metro station is the Shady Grove Metro Station on the Red Line. From the Shady Grove station, you can catch a Ride On Bus (Route 59) towards the Germantown Transit Center. Get off at the Clopper Road & Great Seneca Highway stop.
