Getting There

Metro
From downtown Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8100 Fenton St. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Union Station' stop. Transfer to the MARC train or take the Light RailLink Light Rail towards Hunt Valley. Travel for about 45 minutes to the 'Baltimore Arena' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes south along Light St to reach the Maryland Science Center at 601 Light St.

From downtown Silver Spring, head to the bus stop at Fenton St & Ellsworth Dr. Take the Metrobus route Z2 towards Greenbelt. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Baltimore St & Light St' stop. Walk about 5 minutes south to reach the Maryland Science Center at 601 Light St.

If you are near the Silver Spring Metro Station, walk to the intersection of Fenton St and Ellsworth Dr. Head south on Fenton St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Colesville Rd. Continue onto Colesville Rd for another 0.2 miles until you reach the Silver Spring Transit Center. From there, you can take a bus or the Metro to Baltimore, as walking directly to the Maryland Science Center is not feasible due to distance.
