    Start at the Barnstable Village area. Head towards Main Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 6A. Turn left on Route 6A and walk approximately 1 mile until you reach Sandy Neck Road. Turn right onto Sandy Neck Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. Sandy Neck Lighthouse will be located at the end of the road, situated on a barrier beach. Please note that this is a long walk, so ensure you have comfortable shoes and plenty of water.

    If you're able to rent a bike in Barnstable Village, start at the village center and head north on Main Street. You'll soon connect to Route 6A. Continue biking along Route 6A for about 1 mile. When you reach Sandy Neck Road, turn right and bike straight down the road for about 1.5 miles. The lighthouse will be at the end of Sandy Neck Road. Biking will be much quicker than walking, but be cautious of traffic along Route 6A.
