If you are driving from downtown Great Barrington, head east on Main St toward Castle St. Continue straight to stay on Main St, then turn right onto Park St. Follow Park St as it curves left and becomes Monument Valley Rd. After about 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Monument Mountain Reservation on your left. There is a parking area available at the entrance.

To reach Monument Mountain Reservation via public transportation, take the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus service. Board the bus at any convenient stop in Great Barrington that services the BRTA routes. You will need to take the bus towards Great Barrington/Stockbridge and get off at the Monument Valley Rd stop. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk (0.7 miles) to the entrance of the reservation. Walk northwest on Monument Valley Rd until you reach the entrance on your right.

If you are in the vicinity of the reservation and prefer to walk or bike, you can access the reservation directly from nearby trails or roads. For example, from downtown Great Barrington, head east on Main St, then turn onto Park St and follow it as it becomes Monument Valley Rd. The entrance to Monument Mountain Reservation will be on your left after about 1.5 miles. Ensure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water if hiking.
