Getting There

  If you are driving from anywhere in the Berkshires, take Route 7 North or South depending on your starting point. Follow signs for Lanesborough. Once you reach Lanesborough, turn onto Rockwell Road. Continue straight for about 1 mile, and you will find the entrance to Mount Greylock State Reservation on your right. There is a parking fee of $5 for Massachusetts residents and $10 for non-residents. Make sure to bring cash or a credit card for parking.

  To reach Mount Greylock State Reservation via public transportation, you first need to take a bus to Pittsfield, MA. From there, you can catch the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus service. Check the BRTA schedule for the route that goes towards Lanesborough. Once you arrive in Lanesborough, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the entrance of Mount Greylock State Reservation at 30 Rockwell Rd, Lanesborough, MA 01237.   For the adventurous, biking to Mount Greylock can be a thrilling experience. If you are starting from nearby towns like Williamstown or North Adams, take Route 2 and then connect to Route 7 South.
