If you are traveling by car, start your journey from downtown Great Barrington, MA. Head north on Main St toward Lake Buel Rd. Continue onto Route 7 North for approximately 14 miles. Take a slight right onto Route 8 North. After about 5 miles, turn left onto River Rd. Follow River Rd for approximately 3 miles until you reach Zoar Gap, which will be on your left. Parking is available along the roadside, but be mindful of any no-parking signs.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Peter Pan Bus from various locations in the Berkshires to North Adams. Once you arrive in North Adams, you can transfer to the local bus service (Berkshire Regional Transit Authority) that heads towards Drury. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited. Disembark at the nearest stop to River Rd and walk approximately 1 mile to reach Zoar Gap. Note that this might require a short walk along River Rd, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
