Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Rockport, MA. From Route 128, take Exit 14 to Route 127 towards Rockport. Continue on Route 127 until you reach Rockport. Once you're in the town, follow the signs for Bearskin Neck, then turn onto Broadway. After a short drive, turn right onto Bayview Ave. Ocean View Point will be on your right. There is free parking available on the street.
Public Transportation
To reach Ocean View Point via public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail from Boston's North Station to Rockport Station. Once you arrive at Rockport Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby bus stop. Take the Cape Ann Transit Authority (CATA) bus #441 towards Rockport. Get off at the stop closest to Bayview Ave. You'll need to walk approximately 0.5 miles along Bayview Ave to reach Ocean View Point. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as it may vary on weekends.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, Rockport is accessible by bike from surrounding areas. There are bike lanes on Route 127. Once in Rockport, navigate to Bayview Ave using local roads. The ride is scenic and pleasant, but please wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations. There are limited bike racks at Ocean View Point.
Walking
If you are already in Rockport, you can walk to Ocean View Point. Depending on where you are in town, you can take local paths that lead to Bayview Ave. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Rockport. Enjoy the beautiful coastal views along the way.
