Bus
From the center of Hyannis, head to the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA 02601. Board the Peter Pan Bus Lines that travels to Martha's Vineyard. Ensure you check the schedule ahead of time for departure times. Upon arriving at the ferry terminal on Martha's Vineyard, you will need to take the ferry to Edgartown, which is approximately a 45-minute ride. Once you arrive in Edgartown, walk straight along Main Street until you reach North Water Street. Turn left onto North Water Street, and the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse will be on your right at 121 N Water St. The lighthouse is a short walk from the ferry terminal, taking about 12 minutes.
Ferry
From Hyannis, you can also take the ferry directly to Edgartown. Head to the Hyannis Harbor, which is located just a short walk from the center of Hyannis. Look for the ferry service operated by the Steamship Authority that goes directly to Edgartown. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Edgartown, exit the ferry terminal, walk straight to Main Street, and then turn left. Proceed along Main Street until you reach North Water Street. Turn left again, and the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse will be located at 121 N Water St, just a short walk away.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Hyannis. After renting a bike, head towards the Hyannis Harbor. From there, take the Cape Cod Rail Trail or local roads to the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, take the ferry to Edgartown. Once in Edgartown, ride along Main Street and left onto North Water Street. The Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse at 121 N Water St will be on your right. Make sure to pedal safely and follow all local biking regulations.
