Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from your current location in MetroWest. Head to MA-495 N and take exit 26 for MA-2 E toward Concord. Merge onto MA-2 E and continue for about 12 miles. Take the exit for MA-27 S/Acton and merge onto MA-27 S. Continue on MA-27 S for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Main St, and you will find Great Hill Recreation Area at 211 Main St, Acton, MA 01720. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take the MBTA Commuter Rail from various stations in MetroWest. Board the Fitchburg Line towards Fitchburg. Get off at the South Acton Station. From there, you can either walk or take a rideshare service to Great Hill Recreation Area. If walking, head southwest on Central St toward Main St, then turn right onto Main St. The park will be located at 211 Main St, Acton, MA 01720, approximately a 20-minute walk from the station.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can ride along local bike paths. Start from your location in MetroWest and head toward the Acton area via local roads. Once you arrive in Acton, navigate to Main St where Great Hill Recreation Area is located. Be cautious of traffic while cycling, and ensure you wear a helmet for safety.
