Getting There

• Car

  From Mount Greylock State Reservation, head southeast on Rockwell Road toward Western Ave. Continue on MA-2 E for about 10 miles. Take exit 24 for Florida. Merge onto Central Shaft Road, and continue for approximately 2 miles. Savoy Mountain State Forest will be on your left at 260 Central Shaft Rd, Florida, MA 01247.

  Start at a bus stop near Mount Greylock State Reservation. You will need to take a bus to North Adams. From North Adams, transfer to the local bus service that goes to Florida, MA. Once you arrive at the Florida stop, it is approximately a 1.5-mile walk to Savoy Mountain State Forest.   If you prefer cycling, you can ride from Mount Greylock State Reservation via Rockwell Road and MA-2 E.
