From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop for the MBTA bus route 70 or 70A, which can be found at Waltham Station. Take the bus towards Alewife Station. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the MBTA subway (Red Line) and take it towards Ashmont.
