From downtown Waltham, walk to the Waltham MBTA station located at 200 South St. Take the Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. Alight at the Salem station after approximately 28 minutes. Once you arrive at Salem station, exit and head towards the bus stop outside the station. Board the MBTA bus #450 towards Lynn and get off at the stop for Blaney Street at the intersection with Derby Street. From there, walk about 5 minutes down Blaney Street until you reach 10 Blaney St, the location of Sunset Sail Salem.
Walking
If you are staying in the central area of Waltham, you can walk to Sunset Sail Salem. Start at the Waltham Common park and head east on Main Street. Continue on Main Street for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Moody Street. Turn left onto Moody Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Route 60, turn right and keep walking until you reach the Salem area. Once in Salem, navigate to Blaney Street, which will take you about 25 minutes. Continue walking straight until you reach 10 Blaney St.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Waltham. Start from the central Waltham area and head south towards the Charles River Greenway. Follow the bike path along the river, which will take you through beautiful scenery. Continue along the path until you reach the vicinity of Salem. Make your way towards Blaney Street, which is about an 8-mile ride from Waltham. Expect the journey to take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
