Bus
From Waltham, head to the Waltham MBTA bus terminal located at 75 Washington Street. Take the #70 or #70A bus towards Alewife. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Alewife station and transfer to the Alewife subway station. Take the Red Line towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at the Harvard Square station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Harvard Yard. Head east on Brattle Street, then turn left onto Harvard Yard. The John Harvard Statue will be on your right.
Train
Make your way to the Waltham MBTA train station located at 75 Crescent Street. Take the Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Porter Square station. From Porter Square, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at the Harvard Square station. After exiting the station, walk east on Brattle Street and turn left onto Harvard Yard. The John Harvard Statue will be on your right.

If you are already in central Waltham, you can walk to the Waltham MBTA bus terminal at 75 Washington Street. From there, use the bus options mentioned above. Alternatively, if you are near any local landmark or central point, navigate towards 75 Washington Street to catch the bus or head towards the Waltham train station at 75 Crescent Street for train options.
