If you are starting from the center of Nouakchott, head south on Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout at Place de la République. Continue straight onto Avenue Gamal Abdel Nasser. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Avenue de l’Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l’Indépendance and walk for another 10 minutes. As you approach the area, look for signs directing you to Ibn Abbas Square, located just off the main road. The square is known for its vibrant atmosphere and is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

From the main bus station in Nouakchott, board a bus heading towards La Capitale. Inform the driver that you are going to Ibn Abbas Square. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, disembark at the nearest stop to the square.
