    If you are starting from the central area of Nouakchott, head south towards Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn left onto Avenue de la République and continue straight for about 1 km. Look for the large roundabout called Place de la Réconciliation. From there, proceed south along Avenue du Général de Gaulle for approximately 500 meters. As you approach the intersection with Rue de la Paix, look for a sign pointing towards Mosquée Marocaine. The mosque will be located a short walk down Rue de la Paix, on your left.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the central bus station in Nouakchott, take a local bus heading towards La Capitale. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at the mosque. The bus will take you along Avenue du Général de Gaulle; you will need to get off at the stop closest to the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Once you exit the bus, walk east down Rue de la Paix for about 200 meters, and you will see Mosquée Marocaine on your left.
