    If you are in the city center of Nouakchott, start at the Place de l'Indépendance. From there, head southwest along Avenue Moussa Tavele. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn right onto Avenue de la République and continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Avenue Gamal Abdel Nasser. Continue straight for approximately 700 meters. You will see Mosque Ould Abas on your left.

    If you are near the Nouakchott Beach, begin your walk towards the city center. Head northeast along the beachfront until you reach Avenue Gamal Abdel Nasser. Turn left and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the mosque, which will be on your right just after you pass the roundabout.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start from the Place de l'Indépendance and cycle southwest along Avenue Moussa Tavele. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Avenue de la République. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenue Gamal Abdel Nasser and cycle straight for about 700 meters. You will see Mosque Ould Abas on your left side.
