Getting There

• Bus

  From Belle Mare, head to the nearest bus stop located on the main coastal road (Route Coastal). Look for buses heading towards Mahebourg. Board any bus that has 'Mahebourg' displayed. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Mahebourg, disembark at the Mahebourg bus terminal.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Belle Mare to Blue Bay Marine Park. Simply ask your accommodation or a local for a taxi, and inform the driver that you wish to go to Blue Bay Marine Park. The journey will take around 20 minutes, and the cost should be negotiated beforehand or agreed upon with the driver.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and are located close to the beach, you can walk towards Blue Bay. Start at Belle Mare beach and head south along the coast until you reach the junction with Route A10. Follow the road until you see signs for Blue Bay. This walk can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so ensure you have enough water and sun protection.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can also rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Belle Mare. Once you have your bicycle, head south on the coastal road (Route A10). Follow the road signs that indicate the direction to Blue Bay. The ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
