Start your journey from the center of Black River. Head east towards the main road, A 10. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Curepipe Road. At this intersection, turn left to follow the A 10 road. Keep walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way, which offer a chance to experience local culture. After 3 kilometers, you will arrive at Ste Helene Church, located on your right side.

From Black River, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the bus heading towards Curepipe. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the stop for Ste Helene Church or the nearest stop to it. After disembarking, walk for about 5 minutes back towards the main road (A 10), and you will find Ste Helene Church on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Black River. Head east towards A 10 road. Turn left and cycle along A 10 for about 3.5 kilometers. The ride will be quite scenic, and you’ll enjoy the local sights. Ste Helene Church will be on your right side as you approach, just after 3 kilometers of cycling.
