Walking
If you are starting from the Blue Bay Beach area, head north along the coastal road (Coastal Rd). Continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the sign for Chantauvant Guesthouse, which is located at HP49+3FX. The Filalo Boathouse is situated just beyond this guesthouse. The walk is pleasant, with views of the beach and ocean.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Blue Bay Beach area, you can take a local bus heading towards Mahebourg. The bus stop is located close to the beach. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Chantauvant Guesthouse. The journey should take about 10 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance back along Coastal Rd, and you will see the Filalo Boathouse just beyond Chantauvant Guesthouse.
