Start your journey at the center of Chamarel village. Look for the main road that leads out of the village towards the south. Follow this road for about 1 km. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Mare Aux Joncs Waterfall. After approximately 1 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is clearly marked. Continue walking for another 500 meters until you reach a small dirt path on your right. This path leads directly to the waterfall. Follow this path, which is well-trodden, and you will arrive at Mare Aux Joncs Waterfall in about 10-15 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Chamarel. Start at the village center and head south on the main road. Cycle for about 1 km, enjoying the scenic views. Look out for the fork in the road and take the left fork. Continue cycling for another 500 meters until you see the dirt path on your right. Secure your bicycle at the entrance of the path. The path is about 500 meters long and will lead you to the waterfall in approximately 10 minutes. Make sure to wear appropriate shoes as the path may be uneven.
