Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Chamarel, head east on the main road (Royal Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by the Chamarel Waterfall viewpoint on your left. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Route A10. Turn left onto Route A10 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. You will arrive at Vacoas-Phoenix, where Trou aux Cerfs is located.

    From Chamarel, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Royal Road. Take bus number 120 towards Vacoas. The bus will take you directly to Vacoas-Phoenix. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vacoas bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards the main road. Trou aux Cerfs is about a 15-minute walk up the hill from the bus terminal.
