Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Grand Port, head southeast on the A1 road towards Mahébourg. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers. As you approach Mahébourg, look for signs for Grand River South East. Take the exit onto the B59 road and continue straight. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Camp Pecheur. Turn left onto PQ4P+JQW and follow this road until you reach the waterfront. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a small parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Camp Pecheur by public transport, take a bus from the main bus station in Mahébourg heading to Grand River South East. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to PQ4P+JQW. Once you get off, it’s a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) to the waterfront.   For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Grand Port. Agree on a fare with the driver before you begin your journey.   If you're staying nearby in Grand River South East, you can walk to Camp Pecheur waterfront. From the main road (A1), head towards the coast and follow the signs towards PQ4P+JQW. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and should take about 25-30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way.
