Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Le Morne Public Beach, head south along the beach promenade. Enjoy the scenic view for about 20 minutes until you reach the entrance of Le Morne Brabant. From there, continue towards the hiking trail that leads up to the mountain. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Passe Saint Jacques. The trail will eventually lead you to the viewpoint overlooking the beautiful lagoon and Passe Saint Jacques.

Walking

From the Le Morne Cultural Center, walk east on the main road (Royal Road) for about 10 minutes until you see a sign for the Le Morne Brabant mountain. Turn left onto the path leading to the mountain. Follow the trail, which will take you through lush vegetation and will lead you towards the coastline. As you near the coast, you will see signs for Passe Saint Jacques directing you to the right.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Le Morne. Start at the Le Morne Public Beach and cycle west along the coastal road. After about 15 minutes, you will turn onto a dirt path towards the beach. Continue cycling until you reach the sandy shores of Passe Saint Jacques. Make sure to bring water and sunscreen for this beautiful ride!
