From the center of Tamarin, head east on Royal Road (B9) towards the coastal road. Continue walking along B9 for about 1 kilometer until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork onto the scenic coastal path that leads towards Maconde Viewpoint. Follow the path for approximately 500 meters, and you will see signs pointing to Maconde Viewpoint. The viewpoint is situated on your right, and you will be able to enjoy stunning views of the coast and surrounding landscape.

Public Transport

From Tamarin, locate the nearest bus stop on Royal Road (B9). Take a bus heading towards Black River or Le Morne. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Maconde Viewpoint. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs indicating the viewpoint, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tamarin. Head east on Royal Road (B9) and continue straight for about 1 kilometer.
