Getting there

Walking

From the center of Mahebourg, head south on Royal Road towards the waterfront. Follow the waterfront road, which will curve around to the left. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the junction with the B9 road. Here, you will see signs for Souillac. Follow the B9 road, which leads directly to Souillac. As you approach Souillac, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Gris Gris Beach. The beach is located a short walk from the main road. Once you reach Gris Gris, follow the path that leads to the beach area.

Bus

From the bus station in Mahebourg, take a bus heading towards Souillac. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you would like to get off at Gris Gris Beach. Once you arrive at the stop for Gris Gris, you will need to walk a short distance down the road toward the beach. Follow the signs that indicate the way to the beach, and you will arrive shortly.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mahebourg. Start your journey by heading south towards the waterfront and follow the coastal road. Continue along the scenic route until you reach the B9 road. Turn onto the B9 and follow the signs toward Souillac. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed. As you approach Souillac, watch for signs to Gris Gris Beach. Park your bicycle at the designated area near the beach and take a short walk to the beach itself.
