From the center of Mahebourg, head towards the bus station located on Royal Road. Once there, look for the bus heading to Curepipe. The buses are usually marked with their destination on the front. Board the bus, and enjoy the ride which should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Curepipe, disembark at the Curepipe bus station. From the bus station, head northwest on Royal Road towards Biodiversity Unit Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Biodiversity Unit Rd. Take a left onto Biodiversity Unit Rd and walk for approximately 10 minutes until you see the SSR Botanical Garden on your right.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mahebourg. After renting, head to the main road and cycle towards Curepipe. Follow the same route as the bus – take the Royal Road which leads directly to Curepipe. Upon reaching Curepipe, navigate to the Curepipe bus station, then continue on Royal Road until you reach Biodiversity Unit Rd. Turn left onto Biodiversity Unit Rd and cycle for about 10 minutes until you reach the SSR Botanical Garden.
