If you're driving from the center of Moka, head southwest on the M1 highway towards Black River. Continue on the M1 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take the exit towards Coastal Road and merge onto Coastal Road (N1). Keep driving for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Martello Tower Museum located on Coastal Rd, Black River. There is ample parking available near the museum.

To reach the Martello Tower Museum via public transport from Moka, first take a bus from the Moka bus station heading towards Curepipe. From Curepipe, transfer to a bus that goes to Black River. Buses to Black River will depart regularly from the Curepipe bus station. Once you arrive in Black River, the Martello Tower Museum is located approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow Coastal Road heading towards the coast, and you will see the museum on your right. The total bus fare should be around 50-70 Mauritian Rupees, depending on the distance.
