Walking
If you are starting from the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, head north on the main road (Royal Road) towards the intersection with the A10 road. Once you reach the A10, turn right and continue walking until you reach the junction with the coastal road (B13). Turn left onto the B13 and continue walking straight. You will pass several local shops and small eateries along the way. After about 2 kilometers, you will start to see signs for Bain Boeuf Public Beach. Keep walking until you reach the beach access point on your right.
Public Bus
From the Pamplemousses bus stop, take a bus heading towards Grand Baie. Buses are frequent and cost-effective. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Cap Malheureux. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cap Malheureux, walk towards the coastline; Bain Boeuf Public Beach is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop, following the signs toward the beach.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Pamplemousses, start by heading north on the Royal Road. Continue until you reach the A10 and then turn right. Follow the A10 until you reach the B13 coastal road. Turn left onto the B13 and keep cycling straight. The beach is approximately 5 kilometers from Pamplemousses, and you will enjoy scenic views of the coast along the way. Look out for the signposts indicating Bain Boeuf Public Beach.
