Getting There

Walking
From the central area of Pamplemousses, head south on Royal Road towards the A1 highway. Continue walking on Royal Road until you reach the intersection with the Trunk Road (A1). Turn left onto the Trunk Road. Continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers. You will pass by the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden on your right. After approximately 10-15 minutes of walking, you will see the Port Louis Waterfront on your left. The Mauritius Postal Museum is located at RGR2+2M3, just a short distance from the waterfront. Look for the entrance signage.

From the Pamplemousses bus terminal, take any bus heading towards Port Louis. Buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long.
