If you are at the main beach area of Pointe aux Piments, start by heading east along the coastal road (B9). You will walk past several hotels and local shops. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, keep to the left side, following the signs for B9. After approximately 10 more minutes, you will see a sign indicating the Maconde Viewpoint on your right. Follow the path which leads up to the viewpoint.

From your location in Pointe aux Piments, walk to the nearest bus stop on B9. Look for buses heading towards Grand Baie. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Maconde Viewpoint. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the viewpoint, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the beach area and cycle along the coastal road (B9). Keep heading east, passing by local shops and restaurants. After about 30 minutes of cycling at a leisurely pace, you will reach the fork in the road. Take the left path and continue for another 10 minutes. The Maconde Viewpoint will be on your right.
