Bus
From Port Louis, head to the bus terminal located near the Caudan Waterfront. Look for a bus heading towards Black River. The bus number 120 or 128 will take you directly to Black River. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Black River, ask the driver to drop you off at La Balise Marina. From the bus stop, walk towards the marina entrance which is approximately a 10-minute walk straight ahead.

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Port Louis to La Balise Marina in Black River. Simply ask your hotel reception or any local for help in booking a taxi. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the taxi driver to take you to 'L'Estuaire, La Balise Marina'.

Walk
If you are near the waterfront area in Port Louis, you can take a leisurely walk towards the bus terminal, which is about a 15-minute stroll. From there, you can catch the bus to Black River as mentioned above.

Cycling
If you are adventurous and have rented a bicycle, you can cycle towards Black River. The route is scenic but be cautious, as some roads may be busy. Follow the coastal road towards the west, and it should lead you to Black River. The total cycling distance is about 20 km, which may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
