From Poste de Flacq, head towards the main road known as the A4. Walk along this road until you reach the junction with the B2 road. This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Once you reach the B2, turn left and continue straight until you see signs or paths that lead to 'Unnamed Road' (which is where Nandi Island is located). Follow this road until you arrive at the area known as RPRW+JW3.

For a more enjoyable trip, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Poste de Flacq. Start your journey by cycling towards the A4 main road. Merge onto the B2 road and continue cycling straight. Look for 'Unnamed Road' signs where you can access Nandi Island. This route is approximately 5 km and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

You can take a local bus from Poste de Flacq towards the nearest bus stop that services the area close to Nandi Island. Board the bus heading to the nearest destination on the B2, and get off once you reach the stop closest to 'Unnamed Road'. From there, it's a short walk of about 10-15 minutes following the Unnamed Road until you reach Nandi Island.
