Getting there

Walking

From the center of Riviere du Rempart, head north on the main road towards the coastal area. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the B28 road. Turn left onto B28 and continue walking for another 2 km. You will see signs directing you to the Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the entrance of the gardens. The Lotus statue is located within the Botanical Gardens, so once inside, follow the path towards the central pool area where the statue is prominently displayed.

Public Transport (Bus)

From Riviere du Rempart, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main intersection near the market. Take the bus heading towards Pamplemousses (look for signs or ask locals for the right bus). The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pamplemousses bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards the Botanical Gardens entrance, which is just a 5-minute walk. The Lotus statue is located inside the garden, so once you enter, follow the pathways to the central area where the statue is located.

Bicycle

If you are renting a bicycle, start from the center of Riviere du Rempart and cycle north along the coast. After about 1 km, turn left onto the B28 road. Continue cycling for approximately 2 km until you see signs for Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you arrive at the gardens, park your bicycle at the designated area, and enter the gardens. The Lotus statue is located in the pool area, which you can reach by following the main path.
