Bain Boeuf Public Beach: A Tropical Paradise

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the central area of Rivière du Rempart, head north on the A2 highway. Follow the signs for Cap Malheureux. After approximately 15 minutes, take the exit towards Cap Malheureux. Continue straight until you reach the coastal road, and then turn left onto the coastal road (B13). Keep driving for about 5 minutes, and you will see the signs for Bain Boeuf Public Beach on your right. There is parking available nearby, which is usually free.

• Public Bus

  To reach Bain Boeuf Public Beach via public transportation, catch a bus heading towards Cap Malheureux from any major bus stop in Rivière du Rempart. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cap Malheureux bus terminal, exit the bus and walk north along the coastal road for about 10 minutes. You will see Bain Boeuf Public Beach on your left. The bus fare is usually around 25-40 Mauritian Rupees.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from anywhere in Rivière du Rempart. Taxis are readily available and can be booked through your hotel or hailed on the street. The drive will take approximately 15 minutes. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey; a typical fare should range from 300 to 500 Mauritian Rupees depending on your starting point.
