If you are traveling by car from Port Mathurin, head south on the main road (Route 1) towards the south of Rodrigues. Continue along Route 1 for about 15 km until you reach the Grande Montagne area. Look for signs directing you to Fumier Beach. Turn right onto a smaller road at the sign indicating Fumier. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you will see a parking area just before reaching the beach. Parking is free.

From Port Mathurin, you can take a local bus towards Grande Montagne. Buses typically run every hour. The fare is around 30 Mauritian Rupees (MUR). Once you arrive at the Grande Montagne bus stop, you will need to walk about 2 km towards Fumier Beach. Follow the path leading towards the coast, and keep an eye out for directional signs. The beach is well-marked, and the walk offers beautiful views of the area.

For a more comfortable option, hire a taxi from Port Mathurin. Agree on a fare before setting off; the trip to Fumier Beach should cost around 400-600 MUR depending on your negotiation skills and time of day.
