Walking
Start at the center of Tamarin, possibly near the Tamarin Bay. From there, head east on Avenue des Pêcheurs towards the intersection with Route Royale. Turn left onto Route Royale and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop at La Mivoie. Here, you can find local minibus services that head towards Vacoas-Phoenix. Board any minibus that indicates Vacoas or Phoenix. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Camp Mapou Lane II. After disembarking, walk up Camp Mapou Lane for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance to the trail leading to Tamarind Falls Viewpoint. Make sure to follow the path signs towards Tamarind Falls, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From any point in Tamarin, walk towards the main road and locate the nearest bus stop. Look for minibuses labeled for Vacoas or Phoenix. Board the minibus and enjoy the ride; it should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the stop at Camp Mapou Lane II, get off and follow the road straight ahead until you see the entrance to the hiking trail for Tamarind Falls Viewpoint. The hiking trail will lead you directly to the viewpoint.
