Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Mamoudzou, the capital of Mayotte. Head south on the N1 road, following signs for Bandraboua. Continue on the N1 for approximately 15 km until you reach the roundabout at Bandraboua. Take the exit towards Bandraboua and continue straight for about 5 km. You will see signs for Cascade de Bouyouni. The final stretch is on a small road leading to the waterfall area. There is a parking area available near the waterfall.

To reach Cascade de Bouyouni by public transportation, take a 'taxi-brousse' (shared taxi) from Mamoudzou to Bandraboua. The taxi-brousse will drop you off at the main road near the entrance to the Bandraboua area. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the waterfall. Follow the signs along the path. Alternatively, you can ask the driver to drop you off closer to the entrance if they are willing. Be aware that taxi-brousses may not run frequently, so plan accordingly.
