If you are driving, start from Mamoudzou, the largest city in Mayotte. Head south on Route Nationale 1 (RN1) towards Koungou. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Koungou. Continue straight on the D5 road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue des Anémones. Turn left onto Rue des Anémones, and follow the road until you see signs for Cascade de Longoni 1. There is limited parking available near the cascade, so ensure you arrive early to secure a spot.

For those using public transport, start at the main bus station in Mamoudzou. Take a bus heading to Koungou; the buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Cascade de Longoni (it may be a short walk from the drop-off point, so be prepared for a 15-minute walk). From the drop-off point, follow Rue des Anémones as described for drivers until you reach the cascade.

If you prefer to walk from the nearest bus stop, after being dropped off, follow Rue des Anémones. The walk to Cascade de Longoni 1 will take approximately 20 minutes. The path is mostly straightforward, but be mindful of uneven terrain as you approach the waterfall area.
