    From Mexico City, take Highway 15D towards Guadalajara. Continue on the highway until you reach Tapalpa. Once in Tapalpa, follow the signs to Piedrotas Tapalpa which is located just outside the town. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on traffic.

  • Public transportation

    From Mexico City, take a bus from Central de Autobuses de Observatorio to Guadalajara. Once in Guadalajara, take another bus to Tapalpa. From the bus terminal in Tapalpa, you can either hire a taxi or walk to Piedrotas Tapalpa, which is a short distance away.
