Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is La Paz. Head north on Highway 1 (Carretera Transpeninsular) for about 700 kilometers (approximately 435 miles). After passing through the town of Santa Rosalía, continue on Highway 1 until you reach the junction for Mulegé. Turn left onto the road leading into Mulegé. Once in Mulegé, follow the signs to the lighthouse, which is located at the edge of the town on a small hill overlooking the bay.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from La Paz to Mulegé. The bus companies like Autotransportes de Baja California offer services that run regularly. The journey takes around 10 hours, so it's advisable to check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Mulegé, you can take a local taxi or a short walk to the lighthouse, which is located within a reasonable distance from the town center.

• Walking

  If you are already in Mulegé and want to walk to the lighthouse, start from the town center. Head towards the waterfront and follow the road that leads up the hill towards the lighthouse. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 0.9 miles) and should take around 30 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, as the lighthouse is situated on a hill that offers beautiful vistas of the surrounding area.
