To reach Isla del Carmen by car, first make your way to the nearest major city, Ciudad Constitución, located in Baja California Sur. From Ciudad Constitución, take Highway 1 south towards La Paz. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach the town of Loreto. Continue on Highway 1 for another 100 kilometers until you reach the junction for Highway 12 near the city of Ciudad Insurgentes. Take Highway 12 towards the coast, which will eventually lead you to the port of San Carlos. From San Carlos, you will need to take a boat to Isla del Carmen. Ensure you check the local boat schedules, as they can vary. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 300 MXN per person, depending on the service provider.
