Walking
If you are staying in downtown Cabo San Lucas, begin at Plaza Bonita. Head east on Calle 8 de Octubre and turn left onto Boulevard Lázaro Cárdenas. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Tourist Corridor. At this intersection, turn right onto the Tourist Corridor and walk for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass various hotels and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs for Palmilla Beach, which will be on your left. The beach access point is marked, and you will arrive at Palmilla Beach.
Public Bus
From downtown Cabo San Lucas, find the bus stop near the marina. Look for the 'San José del Cabo' bus, which operates frequently. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually around 15 pesos). Remain on the bus for about 25 minutes. You will need to get off at the Palmilla area, which is well-known among locals. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the beach access point, which is just a short stroll from the bus stop.
Taxi
To get to Palmilla Beach by taxi, find a taxi stand in downtown Cabo San Lucas. Inform the driver that you want to go to Palmilla Beach (or simply say 'Playa Palmilla'). The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Agree on the fare before getting in, which is typically around 200-300 pesos. The taxi will drop you off at the beach entrance, from where it’s a short walk to the sandy area.
Ride-Sharing Service
If you prefer using a ride-sharing app like Uber, open the app and set your destination as 'Palmilla Beach'. Make sure you are in a location where the app can pick you up, such as a hotel or a popular spot in downtown Cabo San Lucas. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the fare typically ranges from 150-250 pesos. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the beach.
