Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the historical center of Campeche, head southeast on Calle 10 towards the Malecón de Campeche. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre and keep walking for another 5 minutes. You will see the Cto. Baluartes on your right side, just after the intersection with Calle 5.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the city center. Start from Plaza Principal and bike east along Calle 10, then head towards the Malecón de Campeche. Once you reach the Malecón, turn left and cycle along the waterfront. After approximately 1 kilometer, take a right onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Cto. Baluartes will be on your right in about 5 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the main square, Plaza Principal, take a local bus that says 'Calle 8' on its front. This bus will take you east on Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection with Calle 5. From there, walk a short distance along Avenida 16 de Septiembre, and you will find Cto. Baluartes on your right.
