Walking
If you are in the main square, Plaza de la Independencia, head southeast towards Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cto Baluartes. Turn right onto Avenida Cto Baluartes, and you will find Puerta de Tierra on your left side.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main square, Plaza de la Independencia. Ride southeast on Avenida 16 de Septiembre. When you reach the intersection with Avenida Cto Baluartes, turn right and continue cycling straight. Puerta de Tierra will be on your left after a short ride.
Public Transport
From the main square, Plaza de la Independencia, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Take a local bus heading towards Zona Centro. Alight at the stop closest to Avenida Cto Baluartes and walk a short distance to Puerta de Tierra, which will be on your left.
